WHAT'S HAPPENING ON THE NIGHT?
On Saturday 17th December 2005 Indigo
Down will officially showcase their debut album 'GIN LANE' to the public,
press and the music industry.
And as it's only a week before Christmas, we're seeing it as a bit of a Christmas
bash too, so make sure you bring all your friends to enjoy the festive fun!
We can reveal Indigo Down will be playing a few Christmas tunes with a rock
twist. And amoungst all that, they'll be playing some great covers, and in
true Indigo Down style, they won't be your typical rock covers!
We can already confirm that various national papers are going to come along,
and there's talk of various VIPs and celebs turning up to join in the fun
- you never know who you might see! We'll let you know more when we do. There's
so much we want to tell you, but we're going to keep a few things secret
for
now, just to keep you in suspense! What mean people we are eh?
We've got some amazing support bands
playing too - Jack Viper and Little Monkeys. And on top of all that, we've
got DJ Angel playing some of the best rock music throughout the night, and
maybe
the odd Christmas tune...
Before Indigo Down go on, they'll be a 10-minute video introduction,
it'll include a bit about the band and a couple of comic sketches, followed
by the premiere of
their video for the single 'Freedom'. UPDATE 9/12/05 -
The boys have all been working really hard and have now finished recording
all the footage for the launch. It looks amazing and will hopefully
give everyone a good laugh on the night!
Preview copies of the album have been selling fast since
they went on sale on Friday 21st October 2005 at all Indigo Down's gigs
and online.
You will be able to buy your very own copy of 'GIN LANE' for only £8
on the night. They are usually £11, so make sure you get yours
on the night!

great rock bands with a full evening of top entertainment.
Inspired Pictures will
be filming the whole night. Their kit will consist of 8 cameras,
including a Steadicam and a 16ft Crane. At the same time, they will mix
a live feed
to 3 projectors in the venue, to make sure that no one misses out
on any of the action!
